Customer Reviews

"We were staying at the HGI & decided to walk over for dinner. We ordered their steak street tacos. Very good! They came 4 to a plate, not like the normal 3 usually offered at Mexican restaurants. There was also a little dish is extremely hot sauce centered between the tacos. And maybe have a little taste first before diving into that - quite warm lol! Our server noticed my husband was extremely thirsty & continually came to fill his drink. Very thoughtful of her. And unexpected. Loved the convenience of this place."

"just ate here for the first time tonight and i will 100% be coming back again!! the salsa is great, it's got a bite to it but it's also refreshing, the steak in my quesadilla was the perfect texture... there's so much i could go into. everything is incredibly well priced too. next time you want fast food, go to Dos Botellas and get much better quality food for the same price!!!"

"This is a hidden gem, on the end of a strip mall but it is worth visiting. The inside has beautiful pottery and is brightly painted, very nice atmosphere. It is clean, tables were bussed as patrons left. The staff was plentiful, pleasant and helpful with the menu. The menu is extensive. The Vaca Loca was excellent, sliced steak with cheese sauce. Not too spicy. I normally am not impressed by refried beans but these were better than we've ever had. Loved the rice. The beef enchiladas was wonderful. The best salsa, homemade with lots of cilantro. We couldn't stop eating it. There is a large outside seating area with chairs and umbrellas. The view is not great but if you just like to eat outside it would be nice. We will eat here again."

"I've spent WAY too much money here, thousands of dollars. That speaks to how amazing this place is. We've rarely ate in the restaurant as we order delivery mostly but when we have ate inside the service was always great. I can't speak on a wide variety of what they offer because my Wife and I usually get the same thing every time; Flaming Cheese Fajitas and Pollo Loco, which is always fantastic. I did try their California Burrito once and it was good also. Trying every restaurant in Birmingham is on our bucket list and I promise that you wouldn't want to miss this one!"

"I love this place. Food is always great and so is the service. I love their salsa! Y'all don't waste your time and money on these awful fast food places around here. Go and support a great local restaurant."

"First time back in many years and we had lunch this time. We had shredded beef chimichanga and burrito supreme specials. Both were excellent! Really enjoyed the salsa as well. Very nice atmosphere and not crowded at lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive. We definitely will be back soon!"

"Omg! So delicious! I just happened to find this place driving by...I'm so glad I went in. The best carne asada torta I've ever had. I ordered it to go, it came with fries and free chips and salsa. I will definitely be going back...next time to dine in this beautiful restaurant!"
